These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to porker.vote and related pages, polls, widgets, or materials (the “Site”). By accessing the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. What this Site is — and is not

porker.vote is an independent civic-information and public-opinion platform. It is not a government website, not an official election system, and not legal, financial, or campaign-compliance advice.

Polls and tallies on this Site are unofficial expressions of visitor opinion. They are not certified election results.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

You may use the Site only if you can form a binding contract and only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law. You agree not to:

  • Identify, dox, stalk, or harass other users or the operator.
  • Submit malware, or automated voting intended to manipulate results (bots, scripts, click farms).
  • Probe or breach the Site except good-faith security research disclosed privately.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.
  • Post unlawful content or content that infringes others’ rights.
  • Use the Site to buy, sell, or exchange votes in any official government election.
  • Frame the Site or remove attribution in a misleading way.

We may rate-limit, block addresses, discard suspect votes, or take the Site offline to protect integrity.

3. Optional accounts

Accounts are optional. If you create one, keep your sign-in private and give accurate information. You’re responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts used for bots, vote-stuffing or abuse. Do not put identifying information in free-text fields. See the Privacy Policy.

4. User submissions

If you submit a poll response, comment, or other content (“Submission”), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display that Submission in aggregated or excerpted form in connection with the Site. You represent you have the right to grant that license. We may remove any Submission without notice. Submissions are not confidential.

5. Intellectual property

The Site’s name, logos, layout, original text, graphics, and compilation of aggregated results are owned by the operator or licensors. You may link to the Site and share short excerpts with attribution. You may not copy the Site wholesale or suggest official endorsement.

6. No warranty

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that poll results are statistically representative of any population.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF THE SITE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). Where a jurisdiction forbids a limitation, liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify the operator from claims and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from your Submissions, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of these Terms or of law.

9. Political and election-law notice

This Site does not collect or transmit official ballots. Nothing here is an offer to buy or sell a vote. You are solely responsible for complying with election law that applies to your own activity.

10. Third-party links

We do not control linked sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time, including for suspected abuse. License, disclaimer, liability, indemnity, and governing-law sections survive.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where a consumer-protection statute in your place of residence cannot be waived.

Try informal resolution first via the contact address below. To the extent permitted by law, claims must be brought individually, not as a class or representative action.

13. International visitors; GDPR posture

The Site is operated from the United States and intended primarily for a U.S. audience. Access from the EU/UK is on your own initiative. The Privacy Policy explains that we do not identify users and do not sell data. These Terms do not require you to waive non-waivable statutory rights.

14. Changes

We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance.

15. Miscellaneous

If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement regarding the Site. Failure to enforce is not a waiver.
