House bill · 119th Congress · Public Law 119-72
FAST VETS Act
Became law on Jan 20, 2026. This law sets when Veterans Affairs must redo a disabled veteran's job-training plan under its Veteran Readiness and Employment program. It must do so when a changed employment handicap makes the veteran's long-range goals unfeasible and a different plan would better reach them.
Official title: To amend title 38, United States Code, to modify the conditions under which the Secretary of Veterans Affairs is required to redevelop the individualized vocational rehabilitation plan for a veteran, and for other purposes.
